Class Of 2019: Tenille Townes

Every year Bobby picks a new class of new artists that he thinks will be successful. The artists on the list will have a yearlong promotion, to perform on the Bobby Bones Show, be a guest on the BobbyCast, a performance during the St. Jude Radiothon and more.

The only criteria these artists have to fit… they can’t have ever had a top 40 song on the chart.

The first member announced in Bobby’s Class of 2019 is Tenille Townes. Townes has been on the road with Bobby Bones for a few of the dates on his Red Hoodie Comedy Tour as well as stopped by the show a few times already with a stellar and chilling performance of her song “Jersey On The Wall.” Her bio reads,

The Canadian-born Townes, isn’t quite like anyone else who has graced the city’s stages. With the lyrical fortitude of Griffin or Lori McKenna, the soulful nature of Chris Stapleton or even Adele, Townes is paving ground all her own. The Nashville-based Townes started her journey to becoming one of country’s most promising new artists back in rural Canada, in the backseat of a car.
