Burglary

On January 6th at around 9:50 a.m., police were dispatched to 615 Saint Joseph Street for a report of a window that had been broken out at the address. Police made contact with the store owner who informed officers that several items of value had been taken from the window display. At around 11:45 a.m., police received information that a male subject was attempting to pawn the stolen items at 307 East Boulevard. Police responded to this location and learned that the suspect had just left the address. The suspect was located at 115 East North Street. He was identified as 56-year-old Martin Marrs of Rapid City, and police located several of the stolen items in his possession. He was placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property and a Bond Revocation.
