Meghan Markle Wanted To Be A Household Name Before Marrying Prince Harry

In a new report from Vanity Fair, a former colleague of Meghan Markle‘s claims the Duchess of Sussex is “not a person you can actually be friends with.” This latest story comes after weeks of rumors swirling around the newly minted royal. From her alleged feud with her sister-in-law Kate Middleton to being a demanding boss, Meghan has endured her fair share of bad press recently.

According to Vanity Fair‘s source, Meghan’s goals was “always becoming a household name” long before she met and subsequently married Prince Harry.  “She’s insanely smart and poised, but very, very guarded. She’s not a person you can actually be friends with. She’s the type of person who is best friend with her stylist,” the source continued.

One of Meghan’s best friends is, of course, her stylist Jessica Mulroney. Meghan reportedly enlisted Jessica’s help when she landed her role as Rachel Zana on Suits. Jessica has continued to aid Meghan as she navigates her new life as a royal. She even traveled to Australia and New Zealand with the Duchess for her first royal tour.

While Meghan may be guarded, it appears she does keep a close-knit circle of friends, including Jessica, Serena Williams, and Priyanka Chopra. All three women were present at her wedding in May.
