Antonio Banderas, Chris Pine & More To Present at 2019 Golden Globes

New year, new awards season, and kicking off 2019 is the 76th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 6th in Los Angeles. The nominees for this year’s Globes were revealed last month, but iHeartRadio is exclusively revealing a few more of the presenters that will be handing out several awards.

Antonio Banderas, Chris Pine, and Megan Mullally will all be at this year’s Golden Globe Awards as presenters. Banderas is also nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Limited Series or Motion Picture Made For Television for his starring role as Pablo Picasso in Genius: Picasso.

Banderas, Pine and Mullally join previously-announced presenters Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Emily Blunt, Danai Gurira, Steve Carell, Gina Rodriguez, Ben Stiller, Dick Van Dyke, Mike Myers, Chrissy Metz, Idris Elba, Catherine Zeta Jones, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael B. Jordan, Felicity Huffman, Lena Waithe, Halley Berry, Harrison Ford, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Sterling K Brown, Justin Hartley, William H. Macy, Lupita Nyongo, Gary Oldman, Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, Allison Janney, Saorise Ronan, Sam Rockwell, Jessica Chastain, and more.

The 2019 Golden Globe Awards, hosted by Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg, will air on NBC on Sunday, January 6th, live from The Beverly Hilton at 8pm ET/5pm PT.


Lady Gaga is up for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for A Star Is Born, with the movie itself being nominated in several categories including Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Original Song for “Shallow,” and more. The film’s Bradley Cooper is also nominated for Best Director and Best Actor in a Motion Picture.

Other movies that scored multiple nominations for 2019’s Globe include The Favourite and Green Book.

Meanwhile, in TV nominations, The Assassination of Gianni Versace (which starred Darren CrissRicky Martin, Penelope Cruz and more), received four nods. And series like BarryThe Kominsky MethodHomecomingSharp ObjectsThe Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and A Very English Scandal are all also up for multiple awards.

Additionally, previously announced Golden Globe Award winner and six-time award nominee Jeff Bridges will be the recipient of the 2019 Cecil B. deMille Award, which celebrates “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.” Five-time Golden Globe Award winner and sixteen-time Golden Globe Award nominee Carol Burnett will receive the first-ever Golden Globe television special achievement award, appropriately called the Carol Burnett Award. And Isan Elba, Idris Elba’s 16-year-old daughter, will serve as this year’s Golden Globe Ambassador.
