Pregnant Carrie Underwood Gets ‘Sweet Helpers’ To Help Tie Her Shoes

Carrie Underwood needed an extra set of hands from her boys this weekend.

The country star, who is very pregnant with her second child, a son, required a bit of assistance from her 3-year-old son Isaiah and husband Mike Fisher to accomplish an easy task that has become more or less impossible with the music mommy’s ever-growing baby bump.

The mission at hand: Help Mom with her shoelaces!

The 35-year-old’s “sweet helpers” were up for the challenge, and the entire moment made for an adorably delightful video. “I can no longer tie my own shoes,” the “Cry Pretty” informs her followers in the caption of the clip, which follows her two favorite fellas working diligently to fasten the best of bows for each foot.

“You’re doing a good job, buddy,” Underwood encourages as the infant attempts his loop-less knot before Dad tries to help out. “No, I got it. I’m doing it a cool way,” the infant protests, assuring his style will keep Mommy’s shoes in place all day.

The songbird then tells her baby boy she worries his method might be “too cool” for her to be able to get her shoe off, and so Fisher steps in to finish the job, causing Isaiah to make a fuss.

With more practice, Isaiah will be a shoe-tying expert in no time, which will come in handy once his baby brother arrives in January.

As you know, the tiny tot seems just as excited to meet his little sibling as we are. Last week, Underwood posted a pic of her sons having a brotherly bonding experience over Christmas, along with the caption, “I’m thanking the Lord tonight for His Son while I cuddle with mine.”
