Danielle Bradbery reached new heights with her take of Kacey Musgraves‘ slow-burning serenade.
The country musician unveiled another intimate performance as part of her “Yours Truly” series in which she selects a new song to cover on her YouTube channel. In her latest delivery, Bradbery surrenders herself to the dreamy nocturne “Slow Burn” from Musgraves’ Grammy-nominated album Golden Hour.
Straight from the start, the 22-year-old fully embraces Musgraves’ airy measure and elegant melodies to the comforting rhythms of piano, cello, acoustic guitar. At its crux, this vulnerable variant is as pure and pristine as it is precisely her own.

This latest cover is the second to drop from “Yours Truly” after Bradbery’s deft rework of Ariana Grande‘s “God Is a Woman” last week. “Every time I hear this song I am reminded to pause and recognize all the beauty this world is filled with,” she tweeted in announcing her take of Musgraves’ record.
Still, Bradbery’s cover artistry is only a taster of what’s in store in the month ahead. As you know, the “Goodbye Summer” songstress will be playing live in concert alongside fellow country superstar Kane Brown on his headlining “Live Forever Tour” beginning on January 31.
