The life of UPS driver Jason Coronado in Grand Island, New York changed in a huge way after a chance encounter with a shelter dog.
In October, Coronado was delivering packages to an animal shelter when Ernie, a pitbull-terrier mix, jumped into his truck and refused to leave. The staff at the animal shelter was finally able to coak Ernie out of the truck and then Coronado continued on his route. Though, he never stopped thinking about Ernie.
Less than a month later, Coronado realized that Ernie was the kind of dog he was looking for, sharing that he was “the perfect dog.” So Coronado went and adopted Ernie, bringing him home for good!
