Jake Owen Celebrates Pearl’s Birthday With A Carnival

Jake Owen is currently on the road for his Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour 2018 and singing his latest single “Down To The Honkytonk.” Owen stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to talk about how things are going on the road and in his personal life.

Owen says that he thinks his current single “Down To The Honkytonk is a home run. Further saying that he’s struck out a few times in his life before, but seeing the way people are singing along and new people are coming out to his shows because of this one song makes him believe it’s going to be a success.

While talking with the show, Owen shared he was looking out his bus window in Florida watching Pearl run around outside as she celebrated her birthday. Owen brought a little mermaid bounce house, a magician and more to create a carnival to make her birthday special. After their celebration, Pearl came along to soundcheck with dad and got to sing Zedd & Maren Morris’s “The Middle” at the top of her lungs on stage. Owen confirmed his daughter has “zero fear.”

Outside of touring and being a father to Pearl, Owen is also working on the show Real Country as a panelist along with Shania Twain and Travis Tritt. The show will premiere on USA Network on November 13th at 10/9 p.m. CT. The talent on the show was handpicked by panelists Owen, Twain, and Tritt where they will come on to showcase their talents to the audience. The audience then determines whether or not they stay on or go home. Owen shared that the new gig has been rewarding,

“It’s really fulfilling to be able to help other artists with the advice I’ve learned along the way.”
