TMSG: Girl Receives Custom Minnie Mouse Wheelchair For Halloween

Thanks to Oregon-based nonprofit Magic Wheelchair, little Riley Marquis is going to be all set for trick-or-treating this Halloween. The five-year-old New Hampshire girl received a custom pink Minnie Mouse car, designed to fit right over her wheelchair. The non-profit group was started by a dad who has kids that use wheelchairs and his idea has inspired his volunteers like Bonnie Regan to put their time and talent into making Halloween magical for children in wheelchairs. Regan was the one who built the pink car for Marquis.

“It’s awesome because it doesn’t make the wheelchair like a tool,” says Jason Marquis, Riley’s father. “It’s actually something that’s fun for her to do.”
