Cow Cuddling is The New Wellness Trend

If some of the latest wellness trends haven’t worked for you, here’s one you have to try. Mountain Horse Farm in upstate New York is offering a 60-minute cow cuddling session for $75. They are also offering a full Cow and Horse Experience, which allows the customer to pet, brush and play with both cows and horses coming in at $300 for 90-minutes.

Animals have proven to decrease stress in humans, but cows are the latest to be added to the list of emotional support animals. The Mountain Horse Farm notes on their website,

“Cuddling up with a cow, feeling that lower heart rate and higher body temperature, is very relaxing. They will pick up on what’s going on inside and sense if you are happy, sad, feel lost, anxious or excited. They will respond to that without judgment, ego or agenda.”

Cows are naturally calm animals, which is what this farm is hoping they pass on to their human cuddlers. The benefits of each session include relaxation, healing, help with overcoming fear and help to build self-confidence.
