In February of this year, Amy’s beloved dog Josie passed away from cancer. She was with their family for many years, even around when their kids first came home from Haiti.
Since her passing, Amy wasn’t sure when they were going to get another dog. Her kids starting asking for a pet in the fall of this year and she thought it was time to they start looking. They found an adoptable dog from Keely’s Friends Dog Rescue. After a few hard stages in the beginning due to the situation the pup was rescued from, they were finally able to bring the sweet pup into their home.
