Employees Dalton McPhee and Mallorie Windsor were working their shifts at Chick-fil-A when they recognized an older man and frequent customer, Mr. Joe. He was headed in the parking lot of the local restaurant when he tripped and fell. He quickly started bleeding profusely.
McPhee, who is also a volunteer EMT, grabbed his EMT bag from his car and used powder to seal the cut on Mr. Joe’s face causing the bleeding to ensure he didn’t bleed out. He helped assist until the first responders arrived on site.
Two days after the incident, Mr. Joe’s daughter thanked McPhee for the help and noted that her father is recovering.
