Grab your scrunchies, Beanie Babies and gel pens because Lauren Alaina is about to celebrate the 90s in a big way.
The CMA New Artist of the Year nominee announced today (9/6) that her new single “Ladies in the ‘90s” will hit your boomboxes very soon. “My new single, ‘Ladies in the ‘90s,’ coming October 5th. #FeelingLikeI’mBritney #IMSOEXCITED,” she captions an image of herself rocking a Britney Spears T-shirt and choker necklace.
The song, the first from what will likely be her third album, follows the release of Lauren’s previous singles “Next Boyfriend,” “Road Less Traveled” and “Doin’ Fine,” respectively, from her 2017 album Road Less Traveled. “Ladies in the ‘90s” will become the second country song of late to pay tribute to the decade. Walker Hayes recently debuted his latest single “90’s Country” on Good Morning America.
Lauren is currently on the road with Jason Aldean’s High Noon Neon Tour.
