Woman Makes $58K A Year Hugging Strangers

A mother in Australia decided to pursue her dream and become a professional cuddler. Turns out, the job is in high demand as far as customers go.

Jessica O’Neil is currently making $58K a year to hug people. She claims that her hugs can help those who are suffering from loneliness, depression or low self-confidence. O’Neil started as a massage therapist and counselor and noticed that her hugs with clients allowed them to drop their guards and open up more.

This pushed her into pursuing this career further. A typical session begins with meditation and then they have a short conversation about what’s bothering them and then the hugs come in. She shares that the majority of her customers are just ordinary people, both female, and male.
