Ryan Hurd Drops Intimate Duet ‘To A T’ With Maren Morris: Listen

Ryan Hurd courts Maren Morris all over again in a passionate new duet.

On Friday (August 31), the 31-year-old songwriter released an intimate melody called “To a T,” a lovey-dovey record that features vocals from his country-pop star wife. With sweet harmonies and thoughtful verses, the “Middle” songbird and her hubby prove yet again they are a match made for each other — in marriage and in music.

Setting the mood just right for he and his beloved, Hurd sings in the opening verse, “Take off your makeup, nobody’s around/ It’s you and me, girl, just let your guard.”

Accepting the invitation, Morris softens the chorus with her entry over percussion thumps as strings twang in the background. “Stay here ’til sunrise, I wanna know you/ Like it’s the last time I’ll ever hold you,” they harmonize.

“To a T” celebrates the Michigan native’s first single of 2018 and his second co-write with the Grammy Award-winning vocalist, whom he married last March after they dated for two years. The couple first met back in 2013 while co-writing for Tim McGraw‘s ballad “Last Turn Home.”
