Thomas Rhett Performs With Huge Pop Star

Thomas Rhett is full of surprises. The country megastar unexpectedly performed alongside pop star Charlie PuthTuesday (August 28) when the “Attention” singer headlined Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater.

The pair, who have previously written songs together, took to the stage to perform Rhett’s “Die A Happy Man.” “I got to know Charlie maybe a month ago or two months ago and we wrote some songs together,” Thoms Rhett told the crowd, “and, as you know, ‘cause you’re here, Charlie is one of the most musically talented people I’ve ever met in my entire life,” Rhett says to a screaming crowd. “He makes me want to learn how to play the piano… Thank you for letting me sing in my hometown in Tennessee.”

Charlie took to Twitter after the show to thank the “Life Changes” singer for joining him on stage. “Nashville you were amazing tonight. And thank you to @ThomasRhett for coming out and singing with me tonight as well,” he posted.
