RAPID CITY'S #1 FOR NEW COUNTRY KICK 104

TMSG: CPR Kicked Off Couple’s Relationship

By: freestocks.org

Max Montgomery posted on Facebook asking people to train with him for a marathon paddleboard event in New York City. Andi Traynor was one that answered. After their fourth paddle session, Montgomery felt a burning in his chest and collapsed on the shore.
Montgomery went into cardiac arrest and didn’t have a heartbeat for 17 minutes. However, Traynor is a doctor and knew exactly what to do to keep him alive. She did CPR and mouth-to-mouth to keep him alive until EMTs arrived. The EMTs had to give six defibrillator shocks to get Montgomery’s heart going again.
Since the CPR, Montgomery, and Traynor have pursued a romantic relationship. Montgomery says,
“Anything can happen at any time to anyone. That first kiss being CPR was obviously very magical because here I am and I’m very grateful that I’m able to experience further kisses.”
