Police continue to investigate a shooting incident which took place in the late hours of June 24th that sent two individuals to the hospital.
At around 9:00 p.m. on June 24th, police responded to the trailer park at 1515 E. Saint Patrick Street for a report of gunshots that were heard in the area. Two individuals were located with gunshot wounds at two separate locations within the trailer park. Both were transported to the hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. At this time, their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening in nature.
During the investigation, police learned that the incident had occurred at lot # 359. The handgun believed to be involved has been recovered. After working throughout the night, detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
