Amy and her husband adopted their daughter and son from Haiti. The adoption process took over 5 years, but at Christmas of 2017, they were finally able to come home. Since arriving in America, they have had to adjust to different lifestyles amongst many other things.
One of the things that were difficult for them was their names. Obviously their last names changed when they were officially adopted, but they still identified with their Haitian names. So Amy and her husband decided to have them keep all of the names, making them each have 4 names.
