CMA Music Festival brings events of all kinds to Nashville. Every year for the last several festivals, City of Hope puts on a celebrity softball game benefitting their charity. The softball game is Team iHeartRadio versus Team Grand Ole Opry.
Each time has a variety of celebrities on their team including HGTV’s Property Brothers, country artists Charles Esten and Lauren Alaina, athlete Jay Cutler, American Idol’s Maddie Poppe, Caleb Lee Hutchinson and Gabby Barrett amongst many other celebrities of all walks of fame.
Watch below, a look inside Team iHeartRadio’s dugout where Bobby, Eddie, Lauren Alaina, Amy and her kids, all make appearances.
During the game, Eddie also scored a triple during his first at-bat. On the hit, he helped bring in two runs for the team.

Ultimately, team iHeartRadio did not come away with the win. However, the ultimate winner was cancer research as the whole point of the celebrity softball game was to raise money and awareness through City of Hope.
