Kelsea Ballerini took us behind the scenes of the video shoot, for her current single “I Hate Love Songs.” The Bobby Bones Show‘s Amy Brown caught up with Kelsea on location in a studio in Nashville. Kelsea told us that she really wanted to make sure the video was fun. She feels like she’s made a lot of story videos and super glam videos, that it was time to do something a little more fun.
They created a fun video by making many of the scenes based off lines in the song. From catching a bouquet, to flowers falling from the sky, and dumping popcorn on a romantic couple, the video brings the song to life perfectly.
Many of the moments in the video were done in one take, and seamlessly flow together. We’re able to see a different side of Kelsea that we haven’t seen in her other videos.
She teases us with the very dramatic ending, that has to be created in one take, with no mistakes. We can’t wait to see the finished product. The video will be premiered tonight at Nissan Stadium, during the CMA Music Festival.
