TMSG: Bride Carried Down Aisle During New Orleans Flood

Severe storms have impacted New Orleans in recent days. One bride-to-be was scheduled to be married just as the floodwaters really started to rise.

Members of her wedding planning company Sapphire Events didn’t want the bride’s special day to go badly. They decided to carry her through the flooded entryway to make sure she could get to her wedding.

They captured it on video below.

When Mother Nature throws a flash flood, hail, and wind-blown rain into our timeline, we roll with the punches. We’ve moved an entire wedding day up to avoid a hurricane, weathered countless rainy day plans for outdoor celebrations, and contended with almost every force of nature a planner can imagine. There is literally NOTHING we can’t handle! Our bride from Friday’s wedding was in the BEST of spirits – as guests rolled up their pants and carried her down the aisle during a downpour of 4.5 inches in 1.5 hours. At Sapphire Events, we get it done. The party starts with us! ???? Turn your sound on for the full effect of her entrance into the ceremony. Cheers to our newlyweds! #sapphireevents @preservationhall #happilyeverafter

They were able to deliver the bride to the altar, without messing up her floor-length wedding dress. Definitely some “Tell Me Something Good” !!!
