DUI/Drug Arrest

On May 25th at around 11:10 p.m., police stopped a Dodge pickup for a taillight violation in the area of E. Boulevard North and E. New York Street. Police made contact with the driver. She was identified as 36-year-old Stephanie Martin of Rapid City and police discovered she had a warrant for her arrest. Police noted several indicators of recent alcohol consumption, and after a DUI investigation, police determined that Martin was too impaired to drive. Martin was placed under arrest for DUI (2nd Offense), Driving without a Valid License, and the Warrant. Police made contact with a second female in the vehicle. This female originally gave police a false identity. As police worked to identify her, she handed officers her purse. As she did so, a syringe fell out of the purse. This syringe field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Ultimately, the female was identified as 26-year-old Jorjeana Dubray of Black Hawk. It was determined she had four warrants for her arrest. Dubray was placed under arrest for Impersonation to Deceive Law Enforcement, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and her four Warrants.
