Amy Talks About Greatest Moments With Her Kids, Adoption Check-In

Amy and her husband adopted their children from Haiti. After 5 long years of the adoption process and waiting, the kids finally arrived in America in December of 2017. It’s been about 5 months now since the kids have lived with them and they’ve adjusted to life in the United States.

The family just had a post-adoption check-in to see how things are going. By the look of Amy’s Instagram things are going great and super fun for the new parents. As well all know though, there is always more than meets the eye on social media.

today we’re celebrating the birth a very special girl that has forever changed our lives. ???????? it’s a low key evening…just being a family…as Saturday’s situation in our front yard w ridiculously massive inflatables + piñata + candy galore + too much pizza + cupcakes + ice cream was enough of a party to last us until next year. ???? anyway…this girl is growing up so fast…even in the 4 months that she’s been in our home…she’s grown!!! make it stop. ???? and OH MY GOODNESS swipe to see a pic of her from 2013…the year she was destined to become our daughter…so little!! ✨ looking back at these pics + videos to post here on Instagram…I can’t help but think about her mom…and what she might be feeling on her daughter’s birthday…and how I want to share these w her!!! she should know that her daughter is LOVED…and then some! ❤ maybe one day we will be in a place where I can share these things with her…until then she’s on my heart and we pray hard for her on days that might be particularly difficult…such as today. so thankful that Stachira was born and that we were chosen to raise her…just hope we get this parenting thing down! ???????? #adoption #birthday #espwa
