Jason Aldean is doing his part to bring smiles to the faces of the survivors of the Route 91tragedy. The country star, who was performing on stage when a gunman opened fire above the crowd at the Las Vegas country music festival, recently visited Jovanna Calzadillas at the the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. According to AZ Central, the mother of two has miraculously recovered from her injuries after being shot in the head last October at Route 91. Jason, who spent time with Jovanna and her husband and gifted them with an autographed guitar, also returned to Vegas shortly after the massacre to visit with patients who were injured. He most recently returned to the city for the 2018 ACM Awards, where he took home his third-consecutive Entertainer of the Year trophy.Fifty-eight people died and more than 500 more were injured at Route 91.
