Garth Brooks Prepared for Stagecoach By Calling Keith Urban

Garth Brooks is gearing up for his only announced concert performance on the horizon – on Sunday, he’ll close this year’s three-day Stagecoach festival in southern California.

To get a sense of what to expect, Garth reached out to a friend for some perspective. “Keith Urban’s on there…so I had to text Keith, ‘Hey, man – what’re these things like?’ And he said, ‘It’ll be the most fun you’ve ever had.’” That assurance alone told Garth all he needs to know – “It’s going to be the most fun you’ve ever had?!! I’m so looking forward to it!”

It’s just Garth’s third full-scale concert of the year, following a pair of shows to open and close this year’s Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo several weeks ago.

Garth said they might not even plan a setlist, “This is going to be fun,” he says with a wide smile. “To get out there…be with the guys…just free-swingin’…might not even bring a set list,” he admits. “Just shoot from the hip, have fun.”

It’s sure to be one of, if not the highlight performance of the weekend.
