Dierks Bentley Salutes Boston Marathon Bombing Survivor In Music Video

Dierks Bentley released the music video for his title track from his new album, “The Mountain.” The video uses a similar approach of his single “Woman, Amen” music video, to tell the story of a family who were present when the Boston Marathon was bombed in 2013.

In the video, runner Daniel Foley, recounts how his family witnessed horrifying things at the finish line as they waited for him to complete the race. His message is one of resilience, instead of no longer competing, Foley found the strength to run at the same site the following year.

Check out the music video below.

Bentley’s ninth studio album, arrives June 8th. He hits the road for his headlining Mountain High Tour in May and August will mark his inaugural Seven Peaks Festival in Colorado.
