So, it wasn’t too long ago I laid out my dream concert lineup.
Justin Timberlake, Chris Stapleton, Brothers Osborne and Midland. Well the first half probably won’t be making it here anytime soon, if they did that would be fantastic, BUT the second half- IT IS HAPPENING!!!!
Central States Fair has announced both Midland and Brothers Osborne will be coming here! OMG! And on top of those groups, Dwight Yoakam and Frankie Ballard will be here too! Central States Fair is on point in 2018, well every year but something about this lineup I’m drooling.
So, I have already started my bucket list of songs I really hope they play.
First Midland..of course “Drinkin’ Problem”, “Make A Little” and “Burn Out” will be lined up for sure, but a few other songs I really hope they perform are;
“More than a Fever”
“Nothing New Under the Neon”
“Outta Sight”
Now, Brothers Osborne, I am still in shock they will be in Rapid City, South Dakota in just a few months. Yes, the boys who have claimed ACM Vocal Duo of the Year two years in a row! So from their two albums there are too many songs to list that I hope to hear..I’ll be honest, they should just play every single song from each album, but that most likely won’t happen. Now some obvious tunes we’ll most likely hear, “Stay A Little Longer” and “It Ain’t My Fault” plus “Shoot Me Straight” are for sure happening, but a few others I really, really, really want to hear are;
“Rum”
“Heart Shaped Box”
“Slow Your Roll”
I will also say I am so ready to hear John cut loose with his awesome guitar skills. The radio edits often leave off his mind blowing solos, so come August, John you let it all out!
