A Boston Preschool Doesn’t Want Kids To Use The Term ‘Best Friend’ (Video)

OK, we’re all for being inclusive, but this is just ridiculous.

A Boston-area preschool is trying to discourage kids from using the term “best friend.” The reasoning? They feel that some kids may feel excluded if they do not have their own best friend and that it could lead to the formation of cliques. Oh come one!

Since the beginning of time, kids have had “best friends” in school. Are we seriously going to try to derail that now, just because someone thinks a kid or two may feel left out?
