Three day care workers gave toddlers melatonin gummy bears before their nap time, a natural supplement meant for sleep-aid. They were arrested and charged with two counts of battery and two counts of endangering the life of a child in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Today we talked about it on the show and most people agreed that this happening without their parents’ consent was inappropriate and dangerous. However, some did not think arresting them was the right move.
This daycare is just re-enforcing the ‘candy and kids’ scare with this one.
