Kenny Chesney Along With Rescue Group Saved Over 800 Animals

Kenny Chesney has a huge heart for Islands, especially the U.S. Virgin Islands St. Johns and St. Thomas. In 2017, two devastating hurricanes hit the islands. Along with all of the damage, the humane societies were also destroyed causing a lot of animals to become homeless.

So Kenny Chesney, his tour manager Jill Trunnell and the Love for Love City foundation partnered with Big Dog Ranch Rescue to make sure all of the animals impacted made it safely to stateside where they could get medical treatment and adopted into loving homes. Together they brought over 800 animals to the U.S. mainland and placed them into a variety of rescues throughout the U.S.

Kenny, his crew and these rescue groups and foundations have been hard at work for several months since the hurricanes and all we can say is, WOW! This is incredible. Great work to all involved.

Thank you. #loveforlovecity
