Stabbing

At around 8:10 p.m. on February 23rd, police responded to the 700 block of Kansas City Street for a report of a stabbing that had just occurred in the area. On arrival, police made contact with the male victim who had a laceration to his back. A medical unit arrived on scene and transported the victim to Rapid City Regional Hospital for the treatment of the stab wound. After speaking with witnesses, several of the individuals involved in the incident were located in a residence in the 800 block of Clark Street. There, police made contact with 19-year-old Gary Primeaux of Rapid City, who had an existing warrant. On further investigation, it was determined that Pimeaux was the suspect responsible for the stabbing. He was placed under arrest for Aggravated Assault and his Warrant.
