A 7-year-old boy was in handcuffs after an altercation at his school in Florida. He was reportedly in his elementary school’s cafeteria when, according to the Miami-Dade Schools police report, the 7-year-old misbehaved after a teacher told him “not to play with his food.”
After more engagement between the student and teacher about the food, the boy then allegedly “attached the teacher by repeatedly punching her on the back in the hallway,” according to the report.
On Monday, Miami-Dade Schools Police Fraternal Order of Police president Al Palacio came out in support of the police officer who handcuffed the boy.
