Is Miranda Lambert pulling the trigger on a new Pistol Annies album?
All signs point to yes.
The country superstar took to social media to share how she gets song inspiration, revealing new music from her girl trio could be on the way.
“I sing (and write ….and drink) in the shower. #andsoitbegins #music #maybepistolannies #songstarts #acoustics,” she captions a photo.
Miranda, Angaleena Presley and Ashley Monroe found success together as the Pistol Annies with their 2011 debut single “Hell on Heels.”
They released their debut album by the same name later that year and even appeared on The Hunger Games soundtrack The Hunger Games: Songs from District 12 and Beyond.
Following the release of their 2013 sophomore album Annie Up, the group abruptly cancelled all tour dates in June of that year, citing “unforeseen circumstances.”
