Rapid City police are investigating the unattended death of an individual who was located the northern portion of the I-190 bridge that crosses over Rapid Creek.
At around 1:50 p.m. on February 24th, police were dispatched to the location for a report of an unconscious subject. Police arrived and determined the male subject was deceased. The early stages of the investigation have revealed no signs of foul play in the man’s death.
The identity of the deceased is being withheld until proper notification of next-of-kin can be made.
The RCPD continues to investigate the unattended death in conjunction with the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office.
