On January 13th at around 9:00 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of Hazel Avenue and Sheridan Lake road for a report of a hit and run crash between a pickup truck and a building. Police made contact with a witness who said he had seen a large white pickup with an extended cab which had driven into one of the office suites at 2525 W. Main Street. The witness told police the suspect driver was a male wearing a darker colored baseball cap, and that the truck had driven off before police arrived. Police then investigated the scene of the crash and discovered significant damage to the building at suite 302. Police continue to investigate and anyone with any information on the identity of the suspect driver should contact Detective Michael Shyne at 394-4134.
