Who Changed the Game in 2016? Robin Roberts Tells Us Tonight

“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda with Robin Roberts; ABC/ Ida Mae Astute(NEW YORK) — Who were the innovators who left marks on 2016?  ABC’s Robin Roberts rounds them up in the new special, Game Changers with Robin Roberts, airing Wednesday night on ABC.

In the show, Roberts speaks with some the most influential people of the year, including Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, Grammy nominee Chance the Rapper, plus-size model Ashley Graham and Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, the pediatrician who helped blow the whistle on the Flint, Michigan water crisis.  Others include LeBron James and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Robin gushes over what Miranda “did for Broadway,” and praises him for getting “young people excited about learning about American history.”  She says that Graham is “starting a revolution helping all women of all shapes and sizes embrace who we are.”  As for Chance the Rapper, Robin notes, “He raps about God and he is so positive…so I’m very happy about him.”
