Getty Images/JB Lacroix(LOS ANGELES) — George Clooney is in early development on a feature film version of Netflix’s The White Helmets, a documentary about first responders in Syria, according to Deadline.com.
Clooney and producing partner Grant Heslov are seeking a writer for the proposed film version.
The Syrian Civil Defense, better known as the White Helmets, has been credited with saving more than 60,000 people in war-torn Syria.
