2016 – Lionsgate/Nico Tavernese(NEW YORK) — Keanu Reeves is back again, in the official trailer to his sequel John Wick: Chapter 2.
This time around, Keanu’s anti-hero fights off basically everybody, after refusing a mission and then becoming a target of a hit on his life.
Ruby Rose is one of the triggerwoman, and rapper/actor Common is on the hunt as well.
Reeves is reunited with his Matrix series co-star Laurence Fishburne in the action flick, and the snippet certainly packs in plenty of that: we counted nearly 30 gunshots, a handful of stabbings, one apartment-leveling RPG, and two car chases in under two minutes.
And it doesn’t skimp on the snark, either. “You workin’?” Common asks, as he squares off with Wick. “I’m afraid so,” Reeves answers.
Bridget Moynahan, John Leguizamo, and Ian McShane also star in the film, which opens February 10.
