Bounce TV Ends Ban on “The Cosby Show”

Getty Images/NBC(LOS ANGELES) — Black-owned television network, Bounce TV has decided to end its ban on The Cosby Show starting next month.

In a tweet, the network confirmed that The Cosby Show will start airing again on December 19, due the the many viewers who wanted to the see its return to television.

“You asked, and we heard you loud and clear, Bouncers,” the network announced.

The network believes that most African-American viewers were able to make the distinction between the disgraced comedian, Bill Cosby, and his television character of Cliff Huxtable.

The Cosby Show, which was also banned on BET, Centric and TV Land, was pulled following the many accusations of rape and sexual assault against Cosby by dozens of women.
