Jason Merritt/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Angelina Jolie Pitt and her estranged husband Brad Pitt have reportedly reached a custody agreement regarding their six children.  Or have they?

In a statement provided to ABC News,  a rep for the Maleficent star says the agreement, reached more than a week ago, calls for the children to remain in Jolie Pitt’s custody, with Pitt to continue to receive “therapeutic visits” with his children.

“This has been determined by childcare professionals to be in the children’s best interest,” the statement declares.

The 41-year-old actress filed for divorce in September, citing irreconcilable differences, adding that it was for the health of the family. She sought sole physical custody but Pitt, 52, asked a court last week to award joint custody.

However, People magazine says sources tell them the couple hasn’t reached a permanent custody agreement, and that Pitt will continue to get joint custody of the kids.

The statement from Angelina’s rep says “all sides are committed to healing the family,” which includes six children ranging in ages from 8 to 15.

Pitt’s reps have yet to publicly comment.
