Kevin Winter/BET/Getty Images for BET(NEW YORK) — Dave Chappelle will soon be taking the stage at Studio 8H for the first time as a host of Saturday Night Live.
ABC Radio has confirmed the comic and former Chappelle’s Show host will host on November 12, with A Tribe Called Quest as the musical guest.
The group is releasing their first and last studio album in 18 years, We Got It From Here … Thank You 4 Your Service on Nov. 11.
The new album is the last to feature founding member Phife Dawg.
Other “firsts” for SNL happen on November 5, when Doctor Strange star Benedict Cumberbatch and musical guest Solange both make their Saturday Night Live debuts.
