ABC/Randy Holmes(LOS ANGELES) — Tuesday marked the sixth annual “Hey Jimmy Kimmel I Told My Kids I Ate All Their Halloween Candy” challenge, and it was a banner year.
For each of the past five years, the Jimmy Kimmel Live! host has asked parents to pretend they ate all their kids’ Halloween candy, and post a video of their kids’ reactions to YouTube. Tuesday, Kimmel shared the best of the best.
“I hate you!” shouted one girl after hearing the news. “No more candy that we worked so hard to get.”
Another brave little girl tried her best to hold back the tears, insisting to her mother, “My eyes are just watering.”
Yet another sweet little girl told her parents she wasn’t angry at them and suggested, “How about tomorrow I’ll bring my bag and we’ll get some more candy?”
They weren’t all so understanding, though. “The next time we go trick-or-treating you don’t do that okay?” warned one little girl, before adding, “Or I’ll have to spank your butt and put you in your room.” Yet another little boy fell face-down on the floor while shouting “What the f***!”
However, one older boy wasn’t fooled for a minute. “It’s Jimmy Kimmel…You’re hiding my candy, I’ve seen it before. I’ve watched YouTube,” he declared.
The video ended with a request from Kimmel to donate leftover candy to U.S. troops as a part of Operation Gratitude.
