Gleb Savchenko and Jana Kramer; ABC(LOS ANGELES) — After an eventful season premiere last week, all 13 celebrities on Dancing with the Stars return to the ballroom Monday night.
The competitors will perform a dance to their favorite TV theme songs. Some of the selections are obvious: Maureen McCormick will channel her Marcia Brady days by dancing to the Brady Bunch theme, while Marilu Henner will turn back the clock by performing to the theme of her classic sitcom, Taxi.
Ryan Lochte will bust a move to The Muppet Show theme. Hopefully, no one will rush the stage in protest afterward, as was the case last week.
His partner, Cheryl Burke, recently wrote in a People magazine column that Lochte hurt his ankle during the incident.
Lochte wasn’t the only contestant battling an injury last week — Jana Kramer told People she sprained a muscle in her rib cage during the season premiere. She was taken to an urgent care facility on Saturday because of the injury, the magazine reported.
Following Monday night’s performance show, the first elimination of the season will take place Tuesday night.
