During a segment of Wednesday’s The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the talk show host gave Obama a crash course in navigating the pharmacy chain — whose initials stand for “Consumer Value Stores,” and not “cotton, Vaseline and stuff,” as Ellen suggests in the clip.
DeGeneres shows the FLOTUS the joys of one-stop shopping as the two fill their shopping cart — which Ellen reminds Obama she has to, “push herself, because nobody’s going to push it for you” — with things like Halloween candy, boxed wine, and magazines; and shows her how to use the Coinstar kiosk, ATM and the self-checkout.
The pair also interact with other shoppers and store personnel during the hilarious bit.
