L-R: “Stranger Things” stars Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard and Millie Bobby Brown with Jimmy Fallon; Andrew Lipovsky/NBC(NEW YORK) — (SPOILER ALERT) The kid stars of Stranger Things — Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven; Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike; Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, and Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Lucas — appeared on Wednesday night’s Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.  The discussion of the brief kiss that Finn and Millie’s characters shared was the subject of much laughter and teasing.

It turns out the kiss was Millie’s first-ever real-life smooch, and she didn’t seem to thrilled about it.  She says after filming the scene, she “got up and said ‘Kissing sucks! This is horrible!'” while Finn said his reaction was, “Hmm, it wasn’t TOO bad! Sorr-EEE!”  “Just shush Finn, OK?” said Millie.

Millie then went on to complain about how awkward the scene was because “everyone was there,” including the crew and her dad. “I mean, it was, like, awful!” she moaned.

Gaten and Caleb, meanwhile, just teased Finn and Millie about “practicing” the kiss, and recalled sneaking in to watch them rehearse the scene and just standing there with their eyes popping out and their mouths hanging open.  Hey, they’re teenage boys, remember?

Stranger Things’ second season premieres in 2017 on Netflix.
