The “good?” Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will be back. The bad? Moviegoers will have to wait a little bit longer for Sony Pictures’ follow-up to 2003’s Bad Boys II.
The third installment has been bumped from June of 2017 to January, 12 2018, a rep for Sony Pictures tells ABC News.

Along with the date change, the long-in-development movie got a new title, Bad Boys for Life — a reference familiar to fans of the series and its odd couple pair of childhood pals-turned Miami detectives. Smith played the flashy trust-fund playboy Mike Lowrey, and Martin the tightly-wound family man, Marcus Burnett.

The franchise kicked off in 1995.
