Art Streiber/NBCUniversal(LOS ANGELES) — Jennifer Lopez is getting gritty for her next role. The singer-actress has signed on to play drug lord Griselda Blanco in a new HBO film, Variety reports.
Blanco, who was known as “The Cocaine Godmother,” dominated the U.S. drug trade in the 1970s and ’80s and became the most powerful female cartel member of all time.
