ABC/Rick Rowell(NEW YORK) — So much for Chad Johnson getting a fresh start on Bachelor in Paradise.

The new season of the ABC reality series began with a bang on Tuesday night, with the recent Bachelorette villain bringing his brand of chaos to Mexico. He insulted and alienated his castmates until host Chris Harrison asked him to leave.

Things started out OK for Chad upon his arrival. He put on his happy face and even apologized to one of the many men he clashed with on The Bachelorette, Evan Bass, the erectile dysfunction specialist.

When he wasn’t hanging out with his Bachelorette pal Daniel Maguire, he was making a connection with Lace Morris — a polarizing contestant in her own right, on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor. They bickered as well as they kissed, and during one profane spat they decided to go their separate ways, with Chad calling her the “B” word.

Lace wasn’t his only target. He also insulted Sarah Herron, who was born with one arm. When Daniel tried to calm him down, Chad wildly swung at him, seemingly drunk.

The next morning, Harrison met with the cast to address the Chad drama. He told Chad, “This is supposed to be paradise, and in one night, you’ve managed to turn it into hell!”

Harrison said that Chad had not only been belligerent to his castmates, but also to the hotel staff. He then ordered an incredulous Chad to leave.

Chad refuses to go quietly, though. In a later conversation with Harrison, he argued that the host had no idea what had had happened the night before, yelling, “You went to sleep with a Mimosa and a robe on. You don’t even watch this show.”

He dropped a few F-bombs and told Harrison, “This is my life!”

Based on the preview for next week’s episodes, Chad remains in paradise to cause more problems.

In non-Chad developments, Jubilee Sharpe, the war veteran from Ben’s Bachelor season, received a date card and asked out Jared Haibon, who we saw last year on Bachelor in Paradise when he developed a romance with Ashley Iaconetti.

The new season continues next Monday and Tuesday night on ABC. Not only will we see more of Chad, but Josh Murray — the ex-fiancé of former “Bachelorette” Andi Dorfman — arrives. That should make things uncomfortable for cast member Nick Viall, a.k.a. Andi’s runner-up.
