Tommaso Boddi/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — The parents of Anton Yelchin have taken out an ad to express their gratitude for the support they’ve received following the death of the late Star Trek actor last month.

The full-page ad from Irina and Viktor Yelchin was published in The Hollywood Reporter and features a black-and-white photo of their son, who was found dead June 19 in the driveway of his Studio City, California, home after he was pinned by his own 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee against a mailbox pillar and security fence.

The ad reads, “Thank you to all of you who have sent flowers and gifts, for your condolences and kind words and to all who came to celebrate the life of our dear son, Anton. We are deeply grateful for your unconditional love…He would be surprised at how many hearts and souls he touched.

“Thank you very much, Irina & Viktor Yelchin,” the message concludes.

The Los Angeles Coroner’s Office ruled that Yelchin’s death was accidental, caused by “blunt traumatic asphyxia.”

Yelchin, who was 27, played Chekov in three Star Trek movies, including the new film Star Trek Beyond, opening this Friday.
